Make sure you are in a location where there is wireless Internet access. This could be from your home Wi-Fi or from a Wi-Fi provider located elsewhere.
Select "Settings" from the home menu. This is the icon that looks like a little suitcase with a handle. Use the left and right arrows to navigate through the menu.
Select "Network Settings" under the Settings section by pressing the down arrow. The Network Settings is the round icon that looks like a globe with a small wrench floating above it to one side.
Select "Infrastructure Mode." Press the X button in the group of buttons to the right of the screen.
Select "New Connection." This gives you the option to set up a connection to a new wireless network. Once you've successfully connected to a specific network, you can select it again next time you want to use it. Press the X button.
Select "Scan." Press the X button.
Select the access point you want from the list that comes up. Press the X button.
Double-check the SSID of the access point, and press the right arrow.
If the access point is unencrypted, select "None." Otherwise, select the appropriate security settings. Press the right arrow. Enter the encryption key and press the right arrow.
Select "Easy." Or select "Custom" and adjust settings, if necessary. Check the name of the connection. Press the right arrow.
Check the displayed setting values on the list. Follow the instructions on the screen to finish setting up the network access.
Select "Network" (the round globe) from the home menu. Then select "Internet Browser" (circle with WWW across it) below Network. Press the X button. Select the address bar, and press the X button. Use the keyboard on the screen to type in a URL for a web page.
