Check to see if the music files are in correct format. MP3, MP4, WAV and WMA are all acceptable formats. If the files are in a different format, they will need to be converted.

Using the "Home" button on the PSP, navigate to "Settings," then "USB connection."

    • 3

Select "USB connection" and wait for the computer to display "New device has been connected." Click the removable disk drive letter that shows up.

    • 4

Make a new folder labeled "PSP."

    • 5

Create a folder inside the "PSP" folder and name it "Music."

    • 6

Copy the music files into the newest folder, and press "O" on your PSP to exit.

    • 7

Find "Memory stick" in the "Music" section on the PSP. You will find the songs that were downloaded there.
