How to Make Your PSP Like a Computer Desktop

  Plug one end of your USB cable into the port on your Sony PSP, and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Turn on your PSP.

  Go to the themes web page (see Resources).

  Search for a theme from the main menu on the home page. You can search for themes by categories. Once you find a theme that you like, click on it.

  Click the "Download Theme" to begin downloading your theme. Click "Save," then name your file and save it to your desktop. The downloaded file is a .ptf file.

  Double-click "My Computer" on your desktop, then double-click on your PSP device among the removable disks. Double-click on the PSP folder, then double-click the themes folder.

  Drag your saved .ptf file into the themes folder of your removables PSP disk. The file transfer is complete.

  Go to the settings options on your PSP, then select the theme settings. Next, select the theme tab, then select your newly saved theme to activate it to your PSP desktop.

  Double-click the green safely remove tool on the lower right of your computer screen. Highlight your PSP, then click "Stop." This action safely removes your PSP from your computer without losing any vital information.
