Connect one end of the USB cord into the top of the PSP. Connect the opposite end into the USB port of the computer.
Power on the PSP by sliding the sliver tab up, located on the right side of the device. Press the left arrow key repeatedly until the "Settings" icon is highlighted.
Scroll through the list of options and press X when "USB Connection" is highlighted. A message box will load and pop up automatically on your computer's desktop. This process may taken you to one minute to complete.
Scroll through the list of options in the window and select, "View all files and folders." A separate window will open with a list of folders. Double-click the folder titled, "GAMES."
Drag the Dax file into the "GAMES" folder and then close all the boxes open by clicking the X at the top right corner.
Safely remove the PSP from your computer by right clicking the green arrow icon located in the desktop try at the bottom right corner of your computer screen, and select "close."
Slide your right arrow key on your PSP over until "Games" is highlighted. Select the Dax file that you just placed on the device to make sure it plays back properly.
