AC Adapter
The PSP uses a rechargeable battery much like a cell phone or PDA. The AC adapter is essential for charging the PSP when the battery has died or the PSP is not in use.
Memory Stick Duo
The PSP uses UMD discs to power games, but owners can also look at and store content using Sony's Memory Stick Duo software. The PSP comes with a 32 MB Memory Stick Duo, which can be used to store a small collection of photos and saved games, but not much else.
Headphones
Keep your content private when in public by using the packaged headphones. These small ear plugs also come with a built-in remote to control volume and tracks if you are playing music.
Case
The PSP screen can get scratched if not properly taken care of, but the soft case provided does a pretty good job when you are storing the PSP in a pocket or backpack.
Sample Disc
Instead of paying extra money to purchase your first PSP game, players can enjoy the offerings on the UMD sample disc. The sample disc changes with every new shipment, but includes previews and playable demos of popular PSP games.
