How to Download Skype on a PSP-3000

Skype is an application that will let you talk to your friends from around the world using your PSP-3000. Whether your friends are using Skype on a PSP 3000, PC, MAC, or they are on a regular phone or cell phone, you will be able to talk to them for less than you expect. Using Skype is simple and downloading it onto your PSP-3000 has been made even easier by Sony's efforts to make it readily available through direct download to your PSP-3000.

Instructions

  Insert the Memory Stick Duo into your PSP-3000 and turn the PSP on.

  From the main menu, locate your "WiFi" icon and click to connect.

  Click on the "PSP" home site icon on your main menu.

  At the PSP home site, locate the menu button for applications and click on "Skype."

  Click on the download option for Skype for PSP and save the program to your Memory Stick Duo.

  Once the program is downloaded, from your main menu, click on the icon for the "Memory Stick Duo," select the "Skype for PSP" application and click to open it. Skype will automatically install. Follow the instructions on your screen to get started using Skype on your PSP-3000.
