Things You'll Need
Instructions
Gather all of your videos. It doesn't matter what format they are in, as they will be converted later. Make a new folder on your desktop and then drag all of the video files you want to copy onto your PSP into this folder.
Convert your files. Download a free formatting tool. Format Factory is highly recommended as it is free and fast (see the Resources section for a link.) Run the folder through the conversion tool by clicking the "Browse" button to select the folder you made in the step above and then click "OK" to begin the process. The converted file will then appear in a program-specific target folder, which is generally located in your computer's program files.
Connect your PSP to the computer. Do this by connecting the mini USB cord that came with the console to your computer's USB port. Your PSP will automatically go into "USB mode" once this is done.
Go to "My Computer" and select your PSP from the external drives section by double-clicking on the PSP icon. A new window should pop up showing the contents of your PSP's memory card.
Create a new folder. Go to the "MP_ROOT" directory and then create a folder for your video files. You can name it whatever you like, but it is important to name it something you can remember so you don't forget where your videos are stored.
Drag the formatted video files into this folder. A status bar will pop up, indicating that the file transfer is taking place. Once the status bar disappears, the videos have been transferred and you can disconnect your PSP from the computer.
