How to Download Music From iTunes to Your PSP

The Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game system with many different functions. This device can play games, access the Internet, watch videos and can also be used to listen to iTune files. Songs can easily be downloaded to your PSP, but if the files are not put in the correct location, they will not be able to be played back.

Instructions

  1. Download iTune files to Your PSP

      Connect the ends of the USB cord to the top of the PSP and the USB port in your computer.

      Slide the left arrow key on the PSP over until "Settings" is highlghted.

      Select "USB Connection" from the list of options. Wait for the PSP device to load onto your computer.

      Select "View All Files" from the window that opens on your computer's Desktop.

      Select the "PSP" folder. Double click the "Music" folder.

      Open the folder that has your saved iTune music files. Do not close the PSP folder. Leave the two windows open next to each other.

      Hold the left mouse button over one of the iTune files so that you can drag it into the PSP Music folder. Repeat this process for all the files you want to play on your PSP.

      Safely disconnect the PSP from your computer by right clicking the green arrow icon in the Desktop tray. Select "Close."
