Things You'll Need
Instructions
Connect your PSP to your computer using a standard mini-USB cord. Use a USB port with the 2.0 protocol, which is standard on computers built in the past five years. If you do not know when your computer was built, or are unsure about your USB ports, consult your owner's manual.
Wait for PSP drivers to install. If this is your first time connecting your PSP to your computer, wait a few moments before accessing your device, as your computer will need to install some automatic drivers to ensure proper functionality. If you have previously connected your PSP to your computer, you may skip this step.
Go to "My Computer." You should see a little PSP icon under the "devices with removable storage" option. A new window will pop up.
Create new folders. Simply right-click and select "New Folder" from the drop-down menu to create new folders and directories on the PSP. Note: If you want to move around video files, you will need to create a special directory. See the Resources section for more on this.
