Make sure that have an established Internet connection on your PSP. After going through the steps to finalize your Internet connection on your PSP, you should take the time to familiarize yourself with the web browser that is provided through Sony on your PSP. Understand the steps for downloading and installing new software or files before continuing with the following steps.
In your web browser you should go to the website, Download, and you can now search for appropriate software. One option is to search "Game Utilities and Editors" in the search option at the top of the screen. Another option is to go to the "Games" option on the right side of the home page. Now, click on the option "Game Utilities and Options," and you will be directed to a page with several applicable options of software downloads.
Browse through the various utilities to find the software that will work best for adding the Internet Explorer browser to your PSP. Make sure to read the specifics of the program. Some programs may only be trials or cost money to download. Other software is available for free.
Scrolling through your options, you should see the free download for "IE 2 PSP." Click on this option to read the specifics of the download. Always make sure that the software is compatible with your PSP or operating system. Now that you have the download located on your PSP, you can directly download it. Another and more safe option is to download the software on your computer. Then you can connect your PSP to your computer using the USB connecter to upload the program onto your PSP.
Always make sure that you read all the information on the software before downloading. "Download" is safe website to use, but you should always make sure that the program that you are downloading is legal and does not violate an agreements with Sony's PSP Internet usage policy.
