Things You'll Need
Instructions
Download FrostWire and identify songs you'd like to put on your PSP (see Resources below).
Buy a USB cable for your PSP. Most PSP packages and starter kits do not contain the USB cable, but they are inexpensive and easy to find online (see Resources below). Or save yourself the shipping charge and check your local electronics store.
Plug the PSP end of the USB cable into the PSP.
Plug the USB end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.
Turn both the computer and PSP on.
Navigate to the "Settings" menu on the PSP.
Select "USB Connection" from the "Settings" menu. Your computer should recognize that there is a new device or removable disk, similar to when you hook up an external hard drive or SanDisk card.
Right-click once on the Windows "Start" button.
Click once on the "Explore" option.
Find the PSP on the "Folders" list. The computer will probably recognize the PSP as a "Removable Disk." All of the following steps can be completed from the "Folders" list on the window that launches after you select "Explore."
Create a folder for your music. Right-click on the PSP icon from the "Folders" list, click once on "New" and select "Folder." Name your folder "FrostWire Music" or anything that easily identifies the folder as containing your FrostWire music files.
Go to the folder you use to store FrostWire music files on your computer.
Copy the MP3 file or files that you want to put on your PSP. Right-click once on the file, and select copy.
Go back to the music folder you created on the PSP.
Right-click once in the music folder, and select paste. This will save the FrostWire file into the PSP folder.
