Instructions
Turn on the PSP and look for the Network Settings. Choose the Network Settings option. You will be directed to a new screen. Select the option labeled "Infrastructure Mode."
Look for the "New Connection" option and then select "Enter." Name the connection. The PSP will save the information so you do not have to go through the process again in the future.
Turn on the WLAN switch to scan for available networks in range. The device will look for available Internet access points in the area, even if you don't have a wireless router at the exact location where you are. Choose an access point from the options listed on the PSP. There should be several choices for you to choose from.
Confirm the security settings on the PSP when given the option. The system should restore the settings back to a default setting, but make sure to ensure. This will protect your PSP from hacking.
Save all of your settings so the PSP retains all of the information you added and changed. Push the "Test Connection" when it appears on the screen. This forces the device to connect to the Internet and allows you to make sure everything is working properly.
