Direct Transfer
Download "Mytunesrsswin.zip" to the computer from the Codewave Software website. Unzip all contents of the zip file into a new folder and open the folder without changing what's inside the folder. Click the "Mytunesrss" icon and allow it to start.
Go to the iTunes music library typically in "My Documents/My Music/iTunes" on a PC and "Music/iTunes" on a Mac.
Select a port number and enter a password. Check the Auto Update Database. Browse to this through "Options/Automation." This step may take about ten minutes to complete.
Open a standard Internet browser and enter the address of the website displayed on the General Tab. Then a Mytunesrss page will appear. If there is no Mytunesrss page check that the software meets the operating system requirements and that the firewall is not blocking access to Mytunesrss.
Turn on the PSP and navigate to "Network/Internet Browser." This step assumes the Playstation Portable is already setup on the LAN to access the Internet. Enter the IP address for the computer running the Mytunesrss server and port number selected during set-up. Input personal password and login once the Mytunesrss page loads.
Peruse the play lists and albums with "RSS" icons and select the desired the icon for the desired music. When prompted by the "Add This Channel" prompt, choose "yes."
Close the PSP browser. Pick an item to hear by navigating to the "Network/RSSChannel" path on the PSP.
Indirect Transfer
Burn selected iTunes songs as MP3 to a CD using CD burning software.
Transfer songs on a CD onto the PSP using the USB cable connection. Plug the mini-B side of the cable into the top of the PSP and the other side of the cable into the computer. In the top settings list on the PSP select "USB connection." The computer will detect a new removable disk drive to access.
Convert iTunes songs to PSP compatible format, MP3, using a music converter software such as Allmusicconverter. This software requires Microsoft and uses Mediaplayer version 9 and higher. After conversion load onto PSP.
Use PSP Music Studio software for PC as another music transfer option. This software converts iTunes songs to be PSP compatible by automatically transforming iTunes to MP3 and other formats when chosen.
Sync or transfer iTunes play lists to the PSP using another software, Pocketmac for PSP, for Mac computers. Download the Pocketmac software and enable music options in the initial configuration. Connect the PSP to the computer using the USB cable. Begin the sync process.
