How to Use PSPLink in VSH

PSPLink is a software program that allows people to run diagnostic tests on their PlayStation Portable (PSP) hand-held video game consoles from a computer. VSH is a visual command that allows you to reset the firmware on a PSP from a computer. If you would like to use the VSH software on your computer, you can do so with little hassle.

Instructions

  Connect the PSP to a computer through the USB cable that came with the game console.

  Go to the ̶0;Game̶1; entry on the PSP and click on the ̶0;PSPLink̶1; icon.

  Go to the ̶0;VSH̶1; icon on the computer's desktop and click on it to load the program.

  Wait for the PSP to connect to the computer. This will be shown by ̶0;C:YpspsckYbin>pspvsh.̶1;

  Type ̶0;nostv:// reset vsh̶1; into the prompt and press the ̶0;Enter̶1; button.

  Wait for the command prompt to display ̶0;Resetting psplink.̶1;

  Type ̶0;flash0:/vsh/module/vshmain.prx̶1; into the prompt and press the ̶0;Enter̶1; button. The PSP will re-enter the home screen.
