How to Learn the PSP Control System on the Internet

The Sony PSP is a handheld video game console first released by Sony in 2005. The Sony PSP is a multimedia gaming device designed to play video games, movies and access the Internet. Since its release the Sony PSP has sold over 50 million units and spawned a downloadable game-only offshoot dubbed the PSP Go. Knowing what the buttons on both the PSP Go and PSP do and where they are located is essential to using the PSP. If you don't have an instruction manual for your PSP its is a good idea to know where to find instructions online.

      Open your Internet browser and log onto FunTechTalk (see Resources). FunTechTalk is a website that covers the latest news on electronic gadgets and gaming systems.

      Click "PSP" under the "Categories" menu. The "Categories" menu can be found almost directly in the center of the home page to the right of the most recently published article.

      Scroll down until you see the article titled "PSP Internet Controls Walkthrough." The article can be identified by the photograph of the PSP accompanying it as well as a little red box saying "17 March."

      Click on the "PSP Internet Controls Walkthrough" article to access the article. All of the PSP's buttons and their functions are fleshed out in this article. Images with detailed labels are also provided.

      Open your Internet browser and log onto UK.Playstation (see Resources). UK.Playstation is Sony's official website for the PlayStation in the United Kingdom.

      Click on the "PSP" tab located on the top of UK.PlayStation's home page. The "PSP" tab can be located near the top of the screen next between the "PlayStation 3" and "PlayStation 2" tabs.

      Click "PSP Support." "PSP Support" is located directly under the "PSP" tab. "PSP Support" is the last available option to select and is located next to the "PSP Movies" option.

      Scroll down until you see the "Most Popular Guides" and "Support Categories" tabs. The tabs are located almost halfway down the "PSP Support" page. Click on the "Support Categories" tab.

      Click on "General" after you open the "Support Categories" tab. Once inside the "General" guide navigate your mouse to the right of the page and click on the link labeled "Discover The PSP's System Buttons." The link will be located in a box labeled "Getting Started" that features three other links.
