How to Get the Black Star in Patapon

Patapon, a music strategy game for the PSP, has you commanding a small army of Patapons using sacred war drums. You need the Black Star in Patapon to unlock the Cioking boss encounter. You have to listen to the Shiny Star's story before the Black Star item is given to your army. The Shiny Star is found in the hunting ground Tink Ravine.

Instructions

- 1
  Enter the "Search for a Lucky Star" area on your map when the area is not covered in rain clouds. The stage must be clear of all weather before you get access to the Shiny Star.

  Press the "pata-pata-pata-pon" command to progress your army until you see the Picheek. Press "pon-pon-pata-pon" to attack the Picheek. The Shiny Star appears once this enemy is defeated. Stand in place while the Shiny Start tells you his story. If you march forward, you lose the chance to get the Black Star.

  Wait until the Black Star has chased off the Shiny Star, who drops the Black Star. Press "pata-pata-pata-pon" to march forward and pick up the item. Repeat the "pata-pata-pata-pon" march to reach the end of the level.
