How to Make a Fake 3600 Mah Pandora Battery

The PSP (PlayStation Portable) handheld gaming unit comes with a lithium ion battery pack. You can also purchase a Pandora battery for the PSP. This is a battery that, when installed, opens up your PSP so you can play games usually locked out of the PSP, such as those downloaded from the Internet. There is also a way to modify the stock battery and create a ̶0;fake̶1; Pandora battery that functions just like the real thing.

Instructions

    • 1

Power off your PSP, slide the battery cover off of the rear of the unit and remove the battery.

    • 2

Locate the seam on the sides of the battery. This is where the two halves of the casing connect.

    • 3

Insert your knife in the seam and run it along the sides until the two halves separate. Place the empty half aside and you will be left with the half of the case with the circuit board inside.

    • 4

Lift the board and turn it over as if it were a page in a book. It will now be to the side of the battery case.

    • 5

Locate the black chip with metal pins sticking out of it. Next to one of the pins will be the number "19."

    • 6

Cut the pin just below the "1" in the "19."

    • 7

Place the circuit board back in the case.

    • 8

Line the edges of the two halves with hobby glue and fit the two halves together. Wait for the glue to dry before putting the battery back in the PSP.
