PSP & LED Swap Tutorial

The PSP is a handheld gaming device manufactured by Sony. Most PSPs come in a standard black design but Sony released a clear "lighted" version of the PSP. This PSP comes with a translucent outer case and internal LED lights that flash during gameplay. It is possible for one or more of these lights to fail over time, and if this is the case with your PSP, you can open up the unit and replace the LEDs.

Things You'll Need

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Wire cutters
  • LED lights (available from electronics stores)
  • Soldering iron
