Instructions
Power up your PSP and check the battery level, indicated by the green light; if the indicator glows orange, the unit is low on power and the battery is in need of a recharge, since lower power levels will affect the frame rate in which "D&D: Tactics" plays and will affect the unit's ability to store saved in-game data.
Inspect the input slot where you insert the game disc, in which is Sony's patented Universal Media Disc (UMD) design. If the load tray does not close all the way, the game cannot load properly. This will be indicated on the screen by an error message. In this case, gently snapping the cover on the tray may resolve the issue, but you may need to contact Sony for repair servicing it does not.
Look over the game disc itself. If you find noticeable scratches in the colored side of the disc -- it is best to look at the disc under a bright light source -- or find any smudges, wipe off the game's backside with a clean cloth. In the case of scratches, some commercial bonds are available that can be wiped on, where a chemical fills "buffs out" the scratches. However, depending on the severity and extent of the damages, the game may not play at all and you will need to purchase a new copy.
Click under the memory card icon on the PSP's menu screen and scroll through the data to locate a saved "D&D" file. The PSP contains two distinct internally located memory cards, each capable of storing 15 blocks worth of memory. "D&D: Tactics" requires 3 blocks of memory storage, so if you find your files are not saving, you will need to delete other saved game data to free up memory space.
