Back Up Process
To backup your PSP's data, click the iPSP icon on your Mac's "Desktop" to launch the application then connect your PSP to your Mac by plugging a Universal Serial Bus cable into the device and into any available USB port on your Mac. iPSP automatically begins backing up your PSP's data once your Mac detects the device. The game and user data is saved on your system in multiple date-stamped folders within the "Library" folder.
Gamesaves Manager
To manage games and user data, use iPSP's Gamesaves Manager, a built-in utility that lets you browse, restore and delete games and user data from your backup PSP
files. The utility also lets you transfer games and user data between two or more PSP units.
Music and Photo Processing
iPSP also interfaces with other Mac applications including iTunes, iLife and iPhoto to read, process and convert music and photo files into formats your PSP can understand. The application then transfers the files to your PSP for playing and/or viewing. The conversion process happens quickly, without needing an additional program or plug-in.
Video Processing
The application is also capable of converting a video file into a format your PSP can understand. The conversion utility is a step-by-step wizard that guides you through selecting which video you want to convert and what specific audio and screen resolution options you want. iPSP is capable of converting the following video formats: .mpg, .avi, .mov, .wmv, .vob, .dv and .m2t.
