How to Put an Ebook Onto My PSP

Sony's PSP handheld game console lets users view images, listen to music, watch videos and browser the Internet in addition to playing games. You can also use the device as a portable storage drive if you need to transport files and install third-party applications if you have a custom firmware installed on your system. If you have an eBook reader application installed on your device, or if you want to use the PSP as a portable storage drive for your eBook files, you can place eBook files on the PSP's memory stick just as you would any other type of file.

Connect the PSP system to a computer via the USB connection cable that came with the device.

    • 2

    • 3

Highlight the "USB Connection" beneath the "Settings" heading and press the "X" button to place the device into USB mode.

    • 4

Click the "Start" button in the computer's taskbar and select the "Computer" option.

    • 5

Double-click on the PSP's removable storage device icon. Double-click the "PHOTO" folder to view its contents.

    • 6

Drag the eBook files from the computer into the "PHOTO" folder. If you have an eBook reader installed on your PSP, you can now view the eBooks in the application. If you do not, the eBooks will be stored on the device, but will not be viewable in the PSP's XMB.
