USB Cable
Connect the mini USB plug into the top USB slot on the PSP.
Connect the USB plug into the computer's USB port.
Select the "Settings" icon on the PSP home screen and then select "USB Connection" from the menu. Press the "X" button and the computer will recognize the PSP as a removable USB storage device.
Open the PSP drive and then open the "GAMES" directory. If there is no "GAMES" directory, create one.
Copy the PKG file to the "GAMES" directory.
Press the PSP's "Circle" button to exit USB connection mode and then unplug the USB cable.
Select the "Games" icon from the home screen and then select "Memory Stick" from the menu. Select the game or demo that you transferred and press the "X" button to launch it.
Memory Stick Duo
Pull out the Memory Stick Duo slot cover.
Press down on the Memory Stick Duo to unlock it and then pull the card out.
Insert the Memory Stick Duo into the card reader. The computer will mount the card as a removable storage device.
Open the Memory Stick Duo drive and open the "GAMES" directory. If no "GAMES" directory exists, create one.
Copy the PKG file to the "GAMES" directory.
Click on the "Safely remove devices from your system" notification icon in the taskbar and then select the Memory Stick Duo drive from the menu. Remove the Memory Stick Duo from the computer.
Insert the Memory Stick Duo into the PSP. Press down firmly to secure it.
Select the "Games" icon on the PSP's home screen and then select "Memory Stick" from the menu. Select the game or demo that you transferred and then press the "X" button to launch it.
