How to Remove a PSP Skin

A PSP skin is a graphical vinyl cover that attaches to your portable game system using adhesive. Several different companies create skins for the PSP, but the removal method is generally the same. In most cases, the PSP skin is not reusable, as the vinyl stretches when you peel it off of the hand-held system.

      Slide your fingernail along the edges of the PSP skin to loosen it. Start in a location that has already pulled away from the PSP, if possible. Otherwise start from the top and work your way around the system in either direction.

      Slowly peel the PSP skin off of the gaming system.

      Remove the skin entirely and set it aside. Use a residue remover if the adhesive from the skin has left your PSP sticky.

      Clean the PSP with a damp cloth after the skin removal if you are applying a new skin to the system.
