How to Install a Radio in a PlayStation Portable

The PlayStation Portable is a handheld video gaming device from Sony. In addition to playing games, the PSP can play music, movies and photos stored on the device's memory stick. With its Wi-Fi capabilities, the PSP can download and install an Internet radio player that enables you to listen to radio stations wherever you can get a Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Instructions

      Insert a memory stick into the PSP's memory stick bay if you do not already have one in place.

      Turn on the PSP and scroll to the "Internet Settings" option in the "Settings" tab to confirm that you are connected to a wireless access point. If you are not connected, select a network and enter the passkey, if needed, to connect to the Internet.

      Scroll to the "Network" tab and select "Internet Radio."

      Select "About Internet Radio," then select "Adding an Internet radio player."

      Browse the list of available Internet radio players and decide which one you want to download.

      Select the "Add the player to Memory Stick Duo media" icon under the radio player that you want to download. The player will be installed on your PSP and added to the "Internet Radio" option under the PSP's "Network" tab.
