How to Connect to TVersity in My PSP

TVersity is an application that enables devices like the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) to stream or download data from a computer. The software is installed and configured on a computer. A PSP can connect to the PC via the Internet using its IP address. TVersity downloads movie files to a PSP before playing it, while music is streamed directly as long as the connection remains active.

  Navigate to the Tversity website and download the free version of the program. Once the download is complete, double-click the file to install it on your computer.

  Start the TVersity program. Click "Settings" at the top of the program screen and select "Sony PSP" from the drop-down menu.

  Click "Save" on the bottom of the screen to save the changes, and then click "Library" at the top of the screen.

  Click "Add Item" on the right of the screen and select the folder containing media files to stream to the PSP. Click "Submit" to add the files.

  Turn on your PSP and put the wireless LAN switch in the "On" position. Press "Right" on the d-pad to navigate to the "Internet Browser" option on the main menu.

  Highlight the navigation bar at the top of the browser and press "X" to input the destination. Enter "HTTP://your.IP:41952" where "your.IP" is your actual IP address. For example if your IP address is 41.137.45.66 you would enter "HTTP://41.137.45.66:41952" (without the quotation marks) in your PSP.

  Press "Start" on the PSP after you have entered the information and the PSP will connect to TVersity. The contents of the folder you have shared using the program will be shown on your PSP and you can choose whether to play it (in the case of music) or save it (in the case of videos.)
