How to Put Games on the Half Byte Loader

The emulation-loading program Half-Byte Loader allows PlayStation Portable owners to play games they develop themselves - referred to as homebrew games. Playing homebrew games on your PSP is as simple as moving files around on your personal computer, so long as you've successfully installed Half-Byte Loader and found a few homebrew titles available for public download. Make sure to browse your favorite homebrew communities for custom titles you wish to play.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your PSP to your computer with a USB cable.

    • 2

Locate your homebrew game's folder and the memory stick folder of your PSP on your computer.

    • 3

In the memory stick folder of your PSP, open the folder labeled "GAME."

    • 4

Transfer the homebrew game folder into your PSP's "GAME" folder. Half-Byte Loader will automatically locate all playable game files in the "GAME" folder first.
