How to Install SNES9X Euphoria

The SNES 9x software provides a means for individuals to emulate Super Nintendo Entertainment System games on their personal or laptop computers without the need for cartridges. SNES9x is a special version of the emulation software specifically designed for Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld game system. You will be able to open and save games just as easily as if you had a Super Nintendo with you everywhere by downloading ROM images of games and loading them into your PSP's Euphoria folder.

      Download the SNES9X Euphoria emulator software to your computer desktop. Right-click the .rar file and choose "extract." Open the folder, locate the sub-folder titled "3.x" and right-click it. Choose "Copy".

      Connect your PSP to your computer with the included USB cable. Turn on your PSP and wait for the computer to connect to the device. Open "My Computer" ("Finder" if using OS X) and double-click the PSP icon on the left side of the screen.

      Look for a folder titled "Game 105." Right-click an open space in the "PSP" folder, choose "New Folder" and name it "Game 105" if the folder does not exist. Double-click the "Game 105" folder, right-click an open space inside the folder and choose "Paste."

      Download SNES ROMs. Drag the ROM folders to the "ROMs" file in your PSP's file system. Unplug your PSP and reboot it. Choose "SNES9X" from the main menu when it reboots to play your SNES games.
