How to Disconnect & Reconnect a PSP to the Internet

The Sony PSP (Play Station Portable) is a handheld device mainly used to play video games. It is also used for other entertainment purposes, such as viewing photos, listening to music, watching videos and surfing the Internet. If you are experiencing problems with the wireless connection, you may need to disconnect and reconnect your PSP to the Internet to renew the connection.

      Navigate to "Settings" using the arrow buttons. Select "Network Settings" and then press the "X" button. The details of the Internet connection you are currently connected to will be shown. Press the "X" button again to disconnect from the network.

      Navigate back to "Settings" and then "Network Settings." Select "Infrastructure mode" and then "New Connection" if this is your first time to connect to the Internet. Otherwise, select the name of the network you want to connect to.

      Select "Scan" and then choose the access point you want to use. Choose the "WLAN Security Setting," enter the network password and follow other onscreen instructions until the connection is successfully established.
