Acquiring rare equipment in "Dissidia: Final Fantasy" is crucial for taking on the end-game challenges. Normally you acquire items through meeting certain in-battle requirements against certain opponents -- based on character luck and you and your opponent's level. This can be tedious if you're looking for a specific crafting component, like a Megalixir. Earning Megalixirs for use in high-end weapon and armor recipes need not be a matter of luck. With this system you can pick up as many as you need.

Enter the Duel Colosseum and select the Lunar Whale course.

Through a series of battles, or by finding Ranger job cards, raise your luck to 5 stars.

Fight battles and earn as many coins as you can -- possibly Megalixirs from the fights themselves with your 5-star luck. Buy all chests that cost 18 coins. Megalixirs aren't the only chest items that cost 18, but buying only the 18-coin chests is a good way of narrowing your chances.
