How to Get Rid of PSP Error 80110306

A corrupted data on the memory stick in your PlayStation Portable (PSP) console can cause the PSP to display error 80110306, and requires formatting the memory stick to resolve the issue. Corrupted data includes damaged media files or a game that results in the PSP error message. The PSP's system settings allows you to reformat the memory stick, which clears all data on the stick in order to eliminate the persistent problem. Any information on the stick that is not stored on your computer is lost during this process, as the formatting process must wipe the disk space clean.

      Slide the memory stick cover from the card slot on the left side of the PSP.

      Insert the memory card into the card slot until it clicks in place and slide the cover back onto the card slot.

      Slide the power switch up on the PSP to power on the device and press the left arrow on the directional pad until you reach "Settings."

      Press "X" to select the device's settings and press the down arrow on the directional pad to scroll down the Settings sub-menu.

      Press "Down" until you reach "System Settings" and press "X." Press the down arrow to highlight "Format Memory Stick" and press "X."

      Press "Down" to highlight "Yes" on the screen and push "X" to confirm you wish to format the memory stick.
