How to Be Evil Ryu in Street Fighter Alpha 2 for PSP

"Street Fighter Alpha 2" is a game that plays on a PSP handheld gaming console. To make the game more interesting to play, perform a special maneuver that is not documented in order to change the Ryu character from good to evil. The procedure does not require modifying the PSP in any way and therefore, the warranty is not affected or voided. The "Street Fighter Alpha 2" game disc will play normally the next time it is put into the PSP.

Instructions

  Slide the latch at the top edge of the PSP to release the disc door. Pull the door away from the PSP until it is fully open.

  Hold the "Street Fighter Alpha 2" game disc by the edge, with the label facing away from you and the slot at the bottom. Insert the disc into the disc drive compartment. Close the door.

  Hold the PSP so that the front is facing you. Push up on the power button at the lower right corner of the PSP. Let the disc drive spin up. Do nothing until the initial game menu appears on the LCD screen.

  Select "New Game" from the on-screen menu, using the direction pad on the left side of the PSP. Press the "X" button on the right side of the PSP. Select a character to play from the list of choices, using the direction pad. Press the "X" button when you have chosen your character.

  Select a game mode from the list of choices presented, using the direction pad. Press the "X" button when you have chosen the mode to play. Move your character across the screen, using the direction pad. Continue to do this for three or four seconds.

  Press the "Select" and "Start" buttons together. Hold the two buttons down until you see "QSOUND" or "PRESS START BUTTON" on the screen. If you do not see either, release the buttons, move the character for a few seconds and then try pressing the two buttons again.

  Press and hold down the "Triangle" button. Press in on the "R2" trigger at the front right edge of the PSP. Press the "Start" button once and release it.

  Select "Arcade," using the direction pad. Press the "Start" button once to bring up the Evil Ryu character. Release the button and trigger. Play as Evil Ryu for as long as you want.

  Press and hold the power switch up until the PSP turns itself off, when you are done playing as Evil Ryu. Slide the latch at the top edge of the PSP to release the disc door. Pull the door away from the PSP until it is fully open. Remove the game disc and close the door.
