Instructions
Open "Notepad" from the "Accessories" folder of the "Start" menu.
Type the model of your Gameshark code: "gameshark_v3" without the quotation marks. The model of the Gameshark device on the gpSP creator is "gameshark_v3."
Press the "Space Bar" and give the cheat any name you like (without spaces.)
Press the "Enter" key to make a new line, and then type the game's cheat. Cheats are accessible from many cheat database sites, such as CheatCC.com and Gameshark.com.
Press "Save" from the "File" menu on the top toolbar.
Type the name of the ROM's file the cheat code is for, except you type ".cht" without the quotation marks at the end. For example, if you downloaded a ROM called "Mario," then you would name the file "Mario.cht" (without the quotation marks.)
Click the "Save as type:" drop-down box followed by "All files."
Upload the file to the "gpSP" folder on your PSP.
Start the game that you created the cheat file for. Press the "Triangle" button to bring up the gpSP menu.
Press the "X" button on "Cheats and Miscellaneous Options."
Press the "X" button on "Load Cheat File," and locate the .cht file you created. Once the file has finished uploading, it will return you to the game's cheat menu where you can activate or deactivate the cheats you created. The uploading process usually takes just a few seconds, unless you have extremely large cheat files with thousands of codes included.
