How to Downgrade the PSP From 5.03 to 1.50 Softmod

Downgrading a Sony PSP's software is a process that can be done using a software modification. This modification is made possible through the use of a service tool and magic memory stick. The software modification file is saved onto the memory stick when it is purchased. The service tool places the PSP into a low memory state known as service mode. The software file can then be installed. This process downgrades the PSP from any firmware release down to firmware 1.50. This includes going from release 5.03 to 1.50.
