How to Fix ISO Graphic Glitches for the PSP 1001

PSP backup games are saved in the ISO format. The ISO game runs exactly like a normal disk-based PSP game. The ISO files can be compressed into a CSO file that offers a smaller file size, but could lead to graphical errors whilst playing the PSP game. If you are experiencing this, you need to convert the CSO file back into its original ISO state to fix these graphical glitches.

Instructions

    • 1

Download and install PSP ISO Compressor. Since the PSP game you are playing was originally an ISO file, and is now the compressed version of an ISO file, it needs to be uncompressed to fix any graphical errors.

    • 2

Open PSP ISO Compressor on your computer and click the "Uncompress CSO->ISO." option on the right. Click the "Input File" option and select your PSP's CSO file.

    • 3

Click the "Output File" option below and select a destination to save the ISO file after it has been uncompressed. Click "Uncompress" and the CSO file will be converted back to an ISO file.

    • 4

Save the ISO file onto the PSP's memory stick in the "ISO" folder. Select the game from the PSP's menu and the graphical glitches and errors will be fixed.
