How to Unlock the Rathalos Uniform

The game "Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker" may focus on sneaking around and disabling enemies from the shadows, but that does not mean you cannot look good while you complete missions. The Rathalos refers to a hidden in-game enemy and is visually identified by its light-red camo color. Earning the Rathalos uniform will take time and dedication as there is no easy unlock code that you can use as a shortcut.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through "Peace Walker" until you complete "Mission 26 -- Peace Walker Battle 3." Completing this mission unlocks the game's "Extra Ops" mode.

  Start any mission and select the "Briefing Files" folder. Scroll to the "Chico" tab and listen to every audio recording all the way through.

  Clear Extra Ops missions until you have unlocked Mission 29. Accept this mission and head into the game world.

  Complete the primary objectives of Mission 29, which involve killing some guards and looting a crate. Instead of leaving the mission, run south from the crate until you hit the beach. Turn left on the beach and run to the dock.

  Speak with Trenya, the talking cat at the end of the dock. This will end the mission and unlock the Monster Hunter missions in Extra Ops.

  Scroll to the bottom of your Extra Ops mission list until you reach Mission 121. This mission pits you against the powerful monster Rathalos.
- 7
  Complete the mission in less than 15 minutes to earn an "S" ranking. Earning an "S" ranking on Mission 121 or 122 grants you the Rathalos uniform.
