How to Beat Bahamut Fury in Final Fantasy: Crisis Core

"Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII" is an action role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable. The plot follows the adventures of Zack, a minor character from the PlayStation game "Final Fantasy VII." Bahamut Fury is a summoned monster you must fight. It is first used by the antagonist Genesis. Bahamut Fury is massive in size and guards his backside from attacks, which limits your chance to land critical hits. You must constantly heal yourself and attack to defeat him.

Instructions

  Equip materia which heals or boosts your hit points. Hit the "Triangle" button to go to the main menu. Scroll down to "Equipment" and equip the "HP Up" materia to boost your total hit points. Equip materia "Regen" and "Cura" to heal yourself in battle.

  Cast "Regen" as soon as the battle begins. Cast "Cura" or use Potions and Elixirs to raise your hit points after Bahamut casts "Exa Flare," a move which deletes a high percentage of your health, magic and action points

  Avoid and block as many attacks as possible. Watch his claws and hit the "Square" button to dodge his impending attack. Hit "Triangle" to block attacks. Hold the block button down for multi-hit attacks, such as Bahamut's "Hexafang."

  Keep slashing. Magic attacks don't work on Bahamut Fury; only physical attacks will do any damage. Use action point-based attacks such as "Vital Slash" and "Assault Twister." Continue the attack until Bahamut Fury dies.
