How to Downgrade From 6.2 Firmware on a TA-082

Service tool batteries are used to downgrade Sony PSP consoles to earlier firmware releases. The service tool looks like a normal PSP battery, but is programmed to activate service mode when inserted into the PSP. The service tool battery can downgrade many PSP motherboards, including the TA-082 running version 6.2 firmware.
