How To Exit a Memory Card on PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable, PSP, plays videos games, music and movies. In order to save data and play such files, a Memory Stick Duo memory card is used. This memory card must be properly removed. If it is not properly removed, the information and data stored on the card may corrupt, causing the data to no longer work.

Instructions

      Turn off the Sony PSP by flipping the power switch to the "Off" position.

      Locate the port labeled "Memory Stick Duo." It is in the bottom right corner of the backside of the PSP.

      Push the port's door open with a finger.

    • 4

      Push on the Memory Stick Duo. The spring inside the port will unlock the Memory Stick Duo. Pull the Memory Stick Duo out and close the port's door.
