Alternative Outfits
Get a score of more than 300 points in the mini-game to unlock the pink outfit. A further 200 points, making 500, earns the soccer uniform, and 700 points gets the knight armor. Sink your first hole in one to unlock the biker outfit. Get an albatross, meaning receiving a score of three under par on a single hole, to earn the priestess kimono costume. Play your first flag shot to get the wedding veil.
Secret Items
Items are hidden in some of the courses for you to find and collect. The baseball helmet is located in the third hole of Nagawaka, the clown car is in the 17th hole of Central Golf Square and the large paper fan is at South Alps in the third hole. If you play the sixth hole of Gamelan Island Resort, you can find a black afro, and there is an Iron Mace in the 16th hole at Autumn Pagoda.
Unlock Golfers
Select a female character and talk to Shy on the 15th hole at Michinoko to unlock Shu. Talk to Patricia at the first hole of the Gameland Island Resort while your character wears a swimsuit to unlock Patricia as a golfer. Playing as Frau Ada, lift the rock to the left of the course at El Andes at the 17th hole to unlock Roger. Beat Brenda, Gina, Mifune, Mizuho, Roberto, Jack, Sairan or Brian in a Challenge Mode VS Match to unlock that character as a golfer.
New Courses
You can unlock new courses by defeating certain golfers. Beat Lee to unlock Fortress Yard and Dino Park, and beat Frau Ada for Michinoku Pass and Olive Coast. To unlock the Gamelan Island Resort, defeat Lauryn. Play and beat Alice, Malachy, Mifune and Montcalm to get the Autumn Pagoda, Central Golf, Square El Andes and Golden Desert courses, respectively.
