How to Reset the PSP 2001 Firmware

The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is Sony's entry into the hand-held video game market. With its size and abundance of features, the PSP is a popular choice for those who want to be able watch movies and store music in addition to playing games anywhere. With free online updates, you can change the firmware of the PSP to keep up with the new software. If you need to get back down to the original 2001 software, however, you can do so easily by resetting the PSP to its factory presets.
