How to Go Super Saiyan in Tenkaichi Tag Team

In "Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team," you and a partner are able to choose from one of more than 70 characters, then team up to fight a variety of two-on-two battles. In the game, certain characters, such as Goku, are able to transform into a powerful "Super Saiyan" mode. The Super Saiyan ability has three levels, and with each level, your character becomes more powerful. You also benefit by gaining new attacks, as well as better defense.

Instructions

  Start the game, and select a fighter that is able to transform into a Super Saiyan. Such characters include Goku, Vegeta, Goten and Trunks.

  Build up your Union Gauge, shown on-screen, so that it has at least one blue bar. For each bar you fill, you are able to transform into a higher level of Super Saiyan. Fill the bar by attacking enemies.

  Press "Select" when you have at least one Union Gauge bar. Your character transforms into a Super Saiyan.

  Tap "Select" again once you have filled the bars in the Union Gauge to transform into the next level of Super Saiyan. The Super Saiyan ability ends when the Union Gauge empties.
