How to Make My Own PSP Music Visualizations

The Sony PSP gives you the ability to view album covers and music visualizations while you are playing your music. The music visualization that comes with the PSP can become a little tiring, but you can install an application for the PSP that allows you to change visualizations and even make your own.

Instructions

      Turn off your PSP and hold the "Right" trigger and turn it back on. Your PSP is in recovery mode.

      Select "Enable flash0 USB" to put the PSP into USB mode. Connect the PSP to your computer with the USB cable.

      Download the custom PSP music visualizer application for the PSP. (See Resources)

      Click the "Start" button on your computer's desktop and click "Computer." Click the "Memory Stick" drive and open the "vsh" folder, followed by the "resource" folder.

      Drag the "visualizer_plugin.rco" file from the download into the "resource" folder on the PSP memory stick. Select the "Disable flash0 USB" option from the PSP recovery menu and select the "Exit" to reboot the PSP.

      Go into the "Music" section of the PSP main menu and select a song to play on your PSP. Press the "Square" button on the PSP bring up the custom visualizer. Select the visualization you want to use or combine visualizations to make your own.
