How to Play Videos on a PSP With IR Shell

IR Shell is a software script launcher that creates an extra navigation menu on the PSP where you can load and launch different media players. The IR Shell can launch an audio player for MP3s and a video player for short videos and movies. Any videos that you load to the PSP via memory stick can be played through the IR Shell video player.

Things You'll Need

  • Memory stick with pre-loaded videos
  • PSP with IR Shell utility installed

Instructions

      Place the memory stick with the desired videos on it into the memory stick slot on the side of the PSP.

      Press the "Power " button to turn the PSP on.

      Use the "Up/Down" and "Left/Right" arrow buttons to navigate through the main menu, select "IR Shell" and press the "X" button to launch it. This will open the "IR Shell" navigation screen.

      Press the "Left/Right" arrow buttons to navigate to and select the "Video" icon, and press the "X" button to open the video player.

      Select "Memory Stick" in the main menu of the video player, choose the desired video you wish to play from the listing that appears and press "X" to play.
