How to Create a Magic Memory Stick Without Custom Firmware

A magic memory stick is a modified Memory Stick Pro Duo that allows a PlayStation Portable to be used with a Pandora battery. With a magic memory stick and a Pandora battery, you can mod your PSP gaming system to install custom firmware, which allows you to install homebrew applications. There are several ways to create a magic memory stick, but if you have a PSP with official firmware version 5.00 or below, you can make one without custom firmware already installed.

Things You'll Need

  • PSP Firmware 5.00
  • Rain's UltraLite MMS Maker
  • PSP USB cable
