How to Make Magic Memory Easy in Vista

A magic memory stick, also called MMS, contains files that allows you to restore and install firmware on a PSP. Using a magic memory stick allows you to use functions on your PSP that Sony didn't put in, such as playing games created by other PSP users or downloading files from the Internet. You can make a magic memory stick for Vista using a free program called Newbi Easy Installer.

  Open your browser and navigate to the Newbi Easy Installer website.

  Click the download link in the middle of the page. Choose to save the zip file to your desktop.

  Double-click on the "Total Newbi rar" file on your desktop to extract the files. Select to extract the files to a folder. Name the folder "Newbi Easy Installer."

  Insert the memory stick into your computer's card reader.

  Open the Newbi Easy Installer folder on your desktop. Right-click the "Start.exe" file and select "Run as Administrator." Follow the onscreen instructions to make the magic memory stick. "Completed" will appear on your screen when it is finished. The magic memory stick is now created.
