How to Play God of War on a V1.50 PSP

"God of War: Ghost of Sparta" was released on the PlayStation Portable in 2010. Each new PSP game requires the most recent firmware, or software updates, to run. If your PSP is running an older version of firmware, such as version 1.50, you must update your PSP system before playing the game. It is possible to update your PSP from the "Ghost of Sparta" disc.

Instructions

      Insert the "God of War: Ghost of Sparta" disc into your PSP.

      Navigate to the "Game" menu.

      Select "PSP Update" from the list. Select "Start" to begin the update.

      Select "Accept." Press "X" to begin the firmware update. Your PSP will automatically update its firmware from the "Ghost of Sparta" disc. After the update is completed, the PSP will restart.

      Navigate to the "Game" menu and select the "Ghost of Sparta" disc icon to begin the game. The game will load now that the proper firmware has been installed.
