How to Put Photos, Videos & Movies on a PSP

Your PlayStation Portable, popularly referred to as "PSP," doubles not only as a hand-held video game system, but also as an all-purpose media playback device. You can load all of your computer's music, photos and videos to your PSP using Sony's "Media Go" software. After installing "Media Go" to your computer, you can sync your desired media using the program's controls.

  • PSP USB cable
  • Sony Media Manager
  • PSP memory stick

Instructions

      Download the "Media Go" installation software from Sony's website. (See Resources)

      Choose a save destination when prompted. The installation software installs to that location.

      Open the installation file.

      Follow the "Media Go" installation wizard's prompts to install the program. The wizard guides you through the process of choosing a location for the program and selecting from which folders "Media Go" pulls your computer's music, photos and videos.

      Insert a memory stick into your PSP.

      Use the PSP's USB cable to connect the device to your computer.

      Launch "Media Go."

      Select your desired media type, such as "Music" or "Movies," from the "Library" section.

      Drag and drop your desired media to the "PSP: Memory Stick" source in the right pane. The item syncs to the PSP.
