How to Retrieve Deleted Data on a PSP

The PSP is a handheld game console manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment Development. The PSP was announced in 2003 and brought to the market on May 11, 2003. You can play games, access the Internet through Wi-Fi, watch videos and even listen to music on the PSP. If you have deleted data on your PSP, you can recover it and put it back in the original location.

      Connect the PSP to your computer by connecting the smaller end of the PSP USB cable into the PSP, and connecting the larger end of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer.

      Turn the PSP on by pressing the power button. Go into the PSP "Settings" menu from the home screen and select the "USB Connection" option. Click "Browse Files and Folders" in the auto-play screen open on your screen.

      Double-click the recycle bin icon on your desktop to open it. Find the PSP files you deleted in the list of files. If there are other files in the Recycle Bin besides the PSP files, hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and click on the files you want to restore to select them. Click "Restore Items" on the left side of the window. The files will then be restored to your PSP to their original location. If the files are not in the Recycle Bin, they are permanently lost.

      Unplug the USB cable from your PSP, and then remove the other end of the USB cable from your computer.
