Remove the screws holding the PSP's interior together with the triwing screwdriver. Remove the back end of the PSP by hand.
Cut out two 30 AWG wire lengths long enough to connect the LED to the PSP speakers with the scissors. Strip both wires until the metal interior line is exposed at the top.
Find the top ends of the LED, which are the flat metal pieces located above its circular metal center. Solder one wire to the top right end and the other wire to the top left end of your LED with the rosin and soldering iron.
Strip the bottom ends of your wires until the metal interior is exposed. Connect the right wire's bottom end to the positive symbol of your PSP speaker with the rosin and soldering iron. Connect the left wire's bottom end to the negative symbol of your PSP speaker with the rosin and soldering iron.
Put the LED on the right side of your PSP's interior in an open space. Check the effectiveness of the LED placement by putting the back end of the PSP back on and checking for contact between it and the LED. Move the LED into another open space on the right side of your PSP's interior, if necessary. Replace all of the components on the back end of the PSP.
