How to Save Games for Sims 2 on the PSP

The Sony PSP version of "The Sims 2" offers the same Sim strategy gameplay as the computer versions, but it divides the open-world gameplay into smaller quests and minigames. There's no "Save Game" menu item in this game, which can be a bit confusing. The game features an auto-save function, so whenever you do anything in the game, your saved game will automatically be updated. However, if you want to be sure that your progress was saved, navigate through the menu instead of just turning the system off.

     Press "Start" at any time during your game to bring up the menu.

     Select "Quit Game" to bring up a save prompt.

     Select "Save and Quit" to manually update your saved game. Your progress will be updated and can be resumed by selecting your saved game from the title screen.
